Safety Crossings in Dannevirke
Or. C. W. Morrylees suggested at the last meeting of the Dannevirke Borough Council that in view of the new motor regulations coming into force the euuncil should take into consideration the question of markiny off safety erossiufs in High street and other busy thoroughfares. “I notice people step off at any place, whether it is safe or unsafe, which is very unfair to motorists,” he said. On the suggestion of the Mayor (Mr E. Gibbard), Cr. Morrylees said he would agree to the matter being referred to the works committee for consideration.
