Speed Hogs at Kimbolton

(To tho Editor),

Sir, —I wish to put in a complaint as to the way cars use the Kimbolton road as a speedway. lam employed on a farm which borders on both sides of the road and can hardly get my dogs across tho road without running the risk of having them killed. J. hardly think it fair for tho road hogs to think only of themselves and not of tho others on the road. To-night my father and I wero crossing the road with three dogs in bright daylight and two lunatics came down tho road racing and never slowed down, although we were in plain view. It is a, pity tho .traffic cops do not leave the towns and attend to sonic of these speedways around the district. I bet they would get a haul if they did. The cars that race past here never-slow down for anything, not even a blind corner close to here. I kavijwhad the car-drivers be horribly rude, to me for not clearing the stock I was driving off the road for them, but I will be hanged if I will risk valuable dogs for the sake of speed hogs. .Thanking you in advance. —I am, etc., “KIMBOLTON ROAD SHEPHERD.” September 28, 1930.
