WOMAN’S LUNG REMOVED.
SUCCESS IN SYDNEY HOSPITAL,

An operation was decided upon in order to save the woman's life. With the use of the latest anaesthetic, oyefo-propane, the operation was completed within an hour.
Rare Operation,
There have been many cases in this State of lobes of lungs being removed or collapsed, but no complete lung has previously been taken from the body. There are, according to medical authorities, between 200 and 300 people here' living on one lung. "The operation performed is rarely done, even in England," said a Macquarie Street specialist.
