A WEEK AFTERWARDS.—Most of the wreckage of the Auckland express which was derailed on Sunday, August 30, near Paraparaumu, has been removed by rail way salvagers., The only part of the train remaining is the K engine, and this has been stripped of many of its parts. At the first opportunity it will be lifted by the aid of the Department’s break-down crane. On Sunday a "largo number, of motorists‘.visited the locality to see the scene of th e accident.
