Tnere was a heavy yarding of lat sheep, and prices were firm at iast week’s rales. The N.Z. Loan and Alercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report smaller entries in all sections at the Feilding sale. For both store hoggets and fat sheep a- slight advance iu rates was in evidence. Fat ewes made to 39s Gd, hoggets to 275, and wethers reached £2. For fat cattle dairy sorts met with a keen demand and sold at prices -which showed an advance on last week’s values. Boner cattle met with a very keen sale at an advance on late rates. In tho dairy section a firm sale resulted, prices being up to last week’s rates.

Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report light entries in all sheep sections at Friday’s Feilding saio with a very strong demand for everything submitted. The high values ruling at last week's sale for fat ewes was again exceeded, reaching the highest level for some years. The demand for hoggets of both sexes was also keen with values ruling being well up to lata rates. A lighter entry Ui.-ui usual was submitted in the dairy ring, tile demand for heifers showing uuality and close to profit being strong as was the ease with good, reliable dairy cows. In tlie beef section the entry was composed principally of cows of dairy breed with odd pens of run bred cattle. The demand in this section was particularly keen with values ruling being in excess of last week’s rates. Practically no run bred cattle were penned, graziers having to turn their attention to empty cows ex dairy, and for these wo report an excellent sale.
