Graduated Land Tax Anomalies

DEPUTATION TO MINISTER Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. Many Auckland businessmen and largo property owners met at the invitation of the Chamber of Commerce to consider questions arising from the imposition of the graduated land tax. It was decided that Mr. R. B. Newcomb should leave for Wellington and be associated with the deputation to the Minister of Pinaneo which was initiated by a meeting of property owners in Christchurch and which will present examples of anomalies and injustices imposed by the land tax.
