Counties’ Cash Cycling Club

A. MEEHAN WINS IN GOOD PINISH.

On Saturday afternoon the Counties’ Cash Cycling Club staged another of the Boucher Road Cup series. The race was to Ashhurst and return, a distance of 14 miles, and was won by A. Meehan, who beat J. Jamieson by two lengths, with E. Pedley a similar distance away in third place. A. Ganderton made fastest time for the trip, doing the distance in 41min, 24secs. The result was as under:—

A. Meehan (6min.), 44min. 20secs. 1 J. Jamieson (4min.), 42min. 21secs. 2 E. Pedley (3jmin.), 41miu. 58secs. ~ 3 Also, started:. T. Jamieson (6min.), P. Sheridan (2Jmin.), A. Ganderton (lmin. SOsecs.), J. Seelen (ljmin.). Tho race next Saturday will bo to Rangiotu and return, commencing from Church street (near Grand Hotel) at 2 p.m. sharp.
