Plump Frau Kisses Fuhrer

CROWD ROCKS WITH LAUGHTER.

United Press Association—l*v Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Sunday, 9.50 p.m. BERLIN, Aug. 15.

Just before tne miisti of the Iboo metres swimming race at the Olympic Games a plump woman conspicuous in a red hat, whom the Black Guards repeatedly prevented from photographing Hitler at close range, broke tne cordon during the excitement at the finish of the race, shook his hand and kissed Hitler while the crowd of 20,000 rockeu with laughter. Hitler himself was in high spirits and joined in the fun clapping his hands as the woman returned triumphantly to her seat. Hitler sat with Field-Marshal Mackensen and showed great interest in the race. He rose to his feet and applauded the exciting fight for second place after the kissing incident. The water polo match between Germany and Belgium was prefaced by an incongruous spectacle, the German team clad only in slips bobbing up in the wavir to “Heil Hitler! ” The match was played in a bedlam of whistling, jeering and shouting to the French referee to send out the players. Fouls were frequent and three players on either side were suspended temporarily. Hitler remained till the end and received a farewell of aquatic hells from the victorious Germans through a lane of extended arms.
