A valuable shipment of pedigree Polwarth sheep, comprising seven rams and three jewes from Victoria, was shipped to Montevideo, Uruguay, in the Shaw, Savill and Albion .’iner ttaranga which departed from Wellington last week for South America and London, via Capo Horn. Polwarth sheep are a new breed developed in Australia from a merino cross. The shipment which left Wellington last week came from a Victorian station, being railed to Melbourne and thence carried by sea via Sydney. The transport arrangements throughout were handled by Dalgety and Co., Ltd., and the sheep 'are consigned to Poncedo Leon and Dutra, of Montevideo, _
