To-day’s Recipe
CELERY FRITTER Make a batter of -1 ozs. of Hour, a tablespoon of salad oil, t cup of tepid water, 1 egg and a pinch af salt. Wash a head of celery, cut into small lengths, and boil iu salted water till tender. In making the batter, add the stiffly beaten white of the egg last. Dip the pieces of celery in the batter, and fry a golden brown, serving very' hot.
