SYDNEY, Juno J&, An Alice Springs message says that tho Cutlaclc Air Expedition, whilo searching for Lassetter’s Reef, was attacked by aborigines at 'Mount Burley, nine miles from Lasseter’s grave. The plane party in a rude shelter, wero awaiting the arrival of the ground party when natives appeared. Three spears were thrown and tho expedition members opened fire with revolvors. Two more attacks wero made, but finally the natives wero repulsed. During one sortie, a member of tho expedition narrowly escaped being clubbed.
