Wellington Rabbitskin Sale

Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:—We held our second rabbitskin sale of the season on Tuesday, a good representa tion of buyers being in attendance; keen competition ruled throughout and a total clearance was effected. The offering, in keeping with the season, compulsed some nice lines of winter skins, prime bucks bringing up to 130 d and Ist bucks to 121£d. Does were not in quite such good demand, but realised excellent value. Although lower grades in most cases were slightly easier than at our previous sale, they also sold extremely well and trappers are assured of very satisfactory returns. In order to gain advantage of the present high values, wo would advise prompt forwarding of consignments.
