Salvation Army Appointment
CHIEF SECRETARY TOR NEW ZEALAND. ' Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June IS. General Evangeline Booth has appointed Lieut.-Colonel George W. P. Grattan as chief secretary of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, in succession to Colonel Osborne, who is taking up the position of territorial commander for Scotland and Ireland. Besides England. Lieut-Colonel Grattan has served as assistant Field Secretary and as private secretary to - JMrs. Bramwell Booth and Commissioner Hurren.
