Have you ever noticed what a lot of women fall just short of the groomed look in little details?

This is particularly true with evening clothes. For under tight-moulding frocks, carelessness of little things become glaringly apparent. Most flagrant of all neglect is that little detai, the suspender. Now it is just sheer antiquation for auy women to have suspender knobs protruding beneath the moulded lines of her frock. Corset makers have given such scrupulous caro to just such details as this, that it is nothing short of ingratitude to be going about iu a garment with bulky s’uspenders. See that your next foundation has tho new tiny, flat, metal loops with the ingenious knack of gripping tho stocking without a rubber button at all. In most, the elastic is attached V-fashion to do away with bulky adjusting clips. Don’t say to yourself, "I am not guilty” and leave it at that. Make quite sure. Arc y-ou? Have you not, perhaps, sometimes left it to the hurried last-minute glance in the mirror as y-ou dashed out to keep a date? Or did you really have the forethought to try out that dress and its foundation together first in every possible situation . , . walking, sitting, lounging, dancing. Suspenders seldom make their presence known while you are standing still and upright, but bend your knee forward and see what happens. So take this warning.
