NEW ZEALANDER TAKES HEAVY PUNISHMENT Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Last Night. A light-heavyweight boxing contest this evening between Boy do Gams (12.2), the American negro, and Bay Nicol (12.6), was won by de Gans on points before a packed house. De Gans won practically every round over the second half of the contest. He scored at will and punished Nicol heavily. De Gans has been matched to fight Tiny Nicholis ' (Australian heavyweight at Invercargill on July 1. Nicholis meets Max Rosenbloom at tho Sydney Stadium on July 15 and leaves for New Zealand immediately afterwards.
