From Our Own Correspondent The engagement is announced of Miss Isabel Cheyne, eldest daughter of Mr. K. Cheyne, Utuwai, and Mr. George Sanders, of Wellington. A jolly euchre and dance was held at "Utuwai last Wednesday evening in aid of the hall funds. Cards were played for the earlier part of the evening, Mrs. I*. Harvey being the winner of the ladies prize and Mr. Colin Searlo of the men's. The ladies then dispensed supper, after which dancing was the order of amusement until 12.30 midnight. Mr. T. Searle and Miss J. Searle kindly supplied music.
