Sorno concern as to its future was expressed at tho annual meeting in Wellington last week of the Royal Society of New Zealand. The special committee to consider closer liason with kindred societies was instructed to continue its work for another year, the committee having expressed tho opinion that any steps toward closer 00-operatiou between the society and other scientific bodies would bo to tho advantage of science generally.
