A crooner who was kidnapped by bandits in America said he was treated quite kindly, except for the fact that he w r as gagged. The bandits felt justified in doing this in sheer self-defence. A bar-tender has invented a cocktail which he claims will cure influenza. / places where sufferers meet to compare symptons there has been some very determined gargling.
