Nine lives were lost when the French steamer Boree, of 1145 tons, sank during a fog near tho Wash this morning. Thirteen survivors were picked up by vessels which went to her assistance, and the Cromer and Wells lifeboats searched for throo hours for tho remainder of the crow.
