South Africa’s Budget
SURPLUS OP OVER £3,000,000. United Press Association—Bv Electric Telegraph.—-Copyright. CAPE TOWN, Mar. 26 Hon. Havenga, Minister of Finance, has announced a budget surplus of £3,055,000 due to an increase in every head of revenue, except gold mining taxation, as a result of the further lowering of grade oro mined. It is also announced that they will shortly bo redeeming £18,000,000 of overseas loans by means of local flotations.
