Hardware Merchants’ Visit to Australia

PARTY INVITED TO BROKEN HILL Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. In response to an invitation from tho Broken Hill Proprietary to pay a courtesy visit to Australia to inspect its steel works at Newcastle, about 60 members of the New Zealand Hardware Guild will leave for Sydney within the next few days. Thirteen business men, several accompanied by members of their families, will sail from Auckland by the Wanganella to-mor-row, while the remainder will be passengers from Wellington by the Maunganui on Tuesday. It is planned to give the visitors an insight into the manufacture of products of the proprietary which they purchase, while they will also inspect several subsidiary companies. The official portion of the visit ends on April 9, but a number of the travellers may remain for a longer period in Australia,
