Kitchen Evening For Bride-to-be |
The home of Mrs Tayor of Fergusson street was the 'scene of a very happy party last Wednesday evening when friends gathered to honour Miss Peggy Shortt whose marriage to Mr J. Evans will take, place in the near future.
Vases of brightly-coloured asters formed the tasteful decorations. Mrs Taylor received the guests wearing a frock of black spotted maroeain and Miss Shortt was attired in red crepe-de-chine A dainty supper was served. On behalf of those present Mrs Taylor asked the gfiest of honour to accept the numerous kitchen gifts as a token of their goodwill and esteem. Mr J. Evans briefly replied on behalf of Miss Shortt.
