WEEKLY SALE AT LEVIN. An average number of buyers attended tbc weekly stock sale bold at the Levin yards yesterday. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that they submitted a large yarding of sheep, together with medium offerings of pigs and cattle. Pork showed an appreciable firming upon the prices ruling at the previous week's sale, while other lines were cleared at realisations on a par with late rates. Prices ranged as under:— Pigs: Weaners, 4s to 7s 6d; slips, 8s to 11s 6d; light stores, Ills to 16s 6d; larger do., 16s Cd to 22s 6d; light pork, 27s 6d to 32s 6d; porkers, 32s 6d to 365; heavy pork, 37s 6d, to £2 2s 6d; choppers, 35s to £2 6s; baconers, £2 10s to £2 17s Od. Sheep: Pat ewes, 18s 6d, 19s 6d; primo do., 20s to 20s Od; fat wethers, 23s Gd, 24s 6d to 255; fat lambs, 21s 6d, 225, 22s Gd,. 235; prime do., 24s 9d to 25s Od; four-year ewes, 27s sd. Cattle: Pat cows, £3 to £4 10s; medium do., £5 to £6 ss; heavy do., £6 5s to £7; prime extra heavy do., £7 to £S ss; fat heifers, £3 10s to £4 15s; vealers, small, 30s to 455; better types, £2 12s 6d td £3 15s; l’.A. runners, extra heavy, £3 15s to £5 6s; bulls, £-1 to £5 ss; weaner heifers, £2 7s Od to £2 15s; heifers, r.w.b., £3, £3 Cs to £4 15s. Dairy Stock: Cows in milk, £2 10s to £3 ss; springing heifers, £5 to £5 10s. LOAN COMPANY’S REPORT. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd., (Inc. in England) state that at the Levin sale on Tuesday they offered average yardings of sheep and cattle, a total clearance being effected at prices showing a slight difference from those of the previous week. Prices realised were as under:— Pigs: Weaners, 4s to 7s; small stores 9s to 10s; choppers, 29s to 325; light porkers, 26s to 30s; porkers, 32s 6d to 365; sows to farrow. £2 Is. Sheep: Fat wethers, 24s Id; fat lambs, 22s 7d; ewe lambs, 19s 2d to 20s; extra prime fat ewes, 20s 7d. Cattle: Medium fat cows, £5 5s to £5 15s; light fat cows, £3 to £4 15s; fat heifers, £3 15s to £4 15s; store cows, £1 10s to £2 15s; bulls, £3 15s; runners, £2 17s 6d to £3 15s; small vealers, £1 7s 6d; Jersey weaner heifers, £2 17s Gd; coloured heifers, r.w.b., £3 Od.
