“LOVE AT SECOND SIGHT” CONCERNS PRETTY GIRLS

(Kosy: Screening Wednesday Next.) Something outstanding in the way of screen entertainment is promised with “Love at Second Sight.” This picture is just the type that appeals to modem audiences—a delightful comedy romance interspersed with merry, catchy, musical numbers, particularly the theme song. It all concerns a pretty girl, Juliet Macintosh, tho daughter of a milliontire match king, with whom Allan Parsley, a young inventor, has fallen “head over heels” in love—at first sight. The father is not at all keen on his future son-in-law, but finally iconsents to the engagement, in honour of which it is decided to hold a celebration dinner. But, alas, when that day arrives the prospective bridegroom has to suffer the indignity and agony of a terrible toothache, and his place at tho festive board is filled by his friend Bill, a handsome music composer, who has ■“silently" adored the lovely Juliet ever since he discovered her. During tne dinner, Juliet discovers that she has fallen in love again—really in love this ,time —at second sight—with BilL “Papa” Macintosh makes no secret of the fact that he is “tickled” with the

likely change in son-in-laws, and tho trio set to work to find ways and means of appeasing Allan.,
