“Whom the Gods Love”

‘‘Whom the Gods Love,” written by Margaret Kennedy and starring Victoria Hopper, Loder, Stephen Haggard arid Liane Haido, will be the first of A.T.P.’s £150,C00 productions for the 1930-37 season. This film has the distinction of being the first production to have the musical interludes directed by such a famous director as Sir Thomas Beecham, who has long been acknowledged as one of the world’s greatest directors of music. Sir Thomas has already directed several musical excerpts from Mozart, including “Figaro” and “The Magic Flute.” The' London Philharmonic Orchestra and a great number of world-famous singers participate.
