ANNUAL TECHNICAL SCHOOL EVENTS YESTERDAY

A slight but continual drizzle presided, over the annual swimming sports yesterday of the Palmerston North Technical School, held in the Municipal baths. Though the competitors were in no wise perturbed, conditions wero rather unpleasant for spectators. The swimming was of a good standard, but rather slower than in tho years immediately past. Staff members, under the director, Mr. G. G. Hancox, supervised events and assured their prompt despatch.
