Tennis Teams for Africa.

The English Lawn Tennis Association’s ladies’ team left London on December 30 en route for Southampton and Capetown. The members are Miss Freda James, Miss Peggy Scriven, Miss Evelyn Dearman, Miss Nancy Lyle, and Miss Mary Hardwicke. The team will be away for over three months, and is due back on April 5. The girls are to take part in three “Tests” against South Africa, and will also enter for all the major events in the Union.
