Rangiwahia Sale
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report a heavy yarding of both cattle and sheep at their Eangiwahia sale on Tuesday. There was a good attendance of the public and competition on all classes of stock was particularly animated throughout the sale. There were very few passings for practically a total clearance was effected. under the hammer at prices in favour of vendors. Quotations are:— 2-th ewes, 30s 4d, 23s 6d, 29s 3d and 335; 4-th ewes, 355; 4yr ewes, 23s 7d, 255, 28s; 4 and syr owes, 20s 4d, 21s, 21s 9d 225; syr ewes, 18s, 19s, 16s 6d, 19s 6d, 17s 9d; s.m. ewes, 16s, 16s 6d, 16s 9d; ewe lambs, 17s 10d, 18s, 19s 3d, 19s 6d, 20s, 21s, 235; weaner lambs, 15s, 12s, 12s lid, 12s 9d, 14s 6d, 15s 7d, 16s 3d, 17s 2d to 18s 6d; b.f. lambs, 11s, 15s, 15s. 6d, 16s Id, 17s 2d, 17s sd, 17s 7d to 20s sd; S.D. rams, 2gns, 3£ gns. to 44gns.; 18-month heifers, £3, £3 2s 6d, £3 7s 6d; 18-month steers, £4 17s ,6d, £5; bullocks, £8 ss, £9; dairy heifers, 37s 6d to £3; P.A. steers, £6 15s to £7 16s; 2yr. S.H, heifers, £4, £4 Is; empty R.P. heifers, £4 2s; weaner Jersey heifers, 31s j, store cows, £2, £2 7s 6d to £3 10s.
