Soviet Arming of Bandits
PROTEST MADE AND REJECTED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. HARBIN, February IS. The Manchukuo Foreign Minister has protested to M. Slavutsky, the Soviet Consul here, against the alleged Soviet arming of bandits. He instanced the Soviet aeroplane which was supposed to have made a forced landing at Jaoho handing over to bandits four machine guns and 2000 rounds of ammunition.
M. Slavutsky “scornfully rejected” the protest.
