Between March and December, 1935, Signor Mussolini distributed marriage bonuses and large family prizes to the value of £667,000 to State employees. Several tons of ii on are reported-to have been presented to Signor Mussolini by Mr Charles Henry Fowler, formerly of Leeds, who has lived in Italy for some years.
