Lincoln Ellsworth's Rescue

EXPLORER’S GRATITUDE (British Oflieial Wireless.) RUGBY, Jan. IS. A radio message from the master of tho Discovery II states that it is expecting to meet Sir Hubert Wilkins in * the Ellsworth base ship Wyatt Earp in the Bay of Whales on Sunday. Mr Lincoln Ellsworth utid Mr T. HolliekKenyon, who arc aboard tine Discovery, arc well. A congratulatory message to the master of the Discovery has been sent by the Minister for Colonies (Mr J. H. Thomas), who described the niissioa as a fine piece of work. The Discovery Committee in London has received the following wireless message from Mr Ellsworth: “Mr Kenyon and I are deeply grateful for tho extraordinary effort which you, through ■ the officers and crew of the Discovery, have put forward on our behalf aud assure you most sincerely how much we feel the liouour which has been accorded us by the Discovery Committeo and the Australian Government, and we cannot thank you enough for all that has been done.’’

Wc assure you most sincerely how much wc feel tho honour you hava aeorded us, and wc cannot thank you enough for all that has been done for us.”
