Mother and Family Burned to Death
SHOCKING TRAGEDY IN LANCASHIRE

LONDON, January 13
A mother and eight children of ages ranging from one to thirteen years, were burned to death in a miner’s wooden cottage at Tyldesley, Lancashire. The father, Adam Tyrer, jumped from a window to obtain help, but the flames spread amazingly and overcame the mother, who was trying to throw the children from the window.
