GALLIOHAN’S XI (P.N.) AND MANGATAINOKA DEAW During the week-end Gallichan’s team from Palmerston North met the local cricketers at Mangatainoka and played an all-day match, which resulted iu a draw. In the first innings the visitors went, in to bat for a total of G 8 runs. Mangatainoka, in thoir first innings, only put up 21 —seven ducks being recorded. Galliehan’s XI scored 70 in the second strike, and with 118 runs to win tho local team went in and were able to hold the wicket until the call of time.
