WELLINGTON, Last Night,
A depression still lies along the west caost of New Zealand. The pressure is high to eastward, but is beginning to fall over eastern Australia. Winds: Moderate to strong northeasterlies prevailing at most places, but southerlies in the far south and westerlies later in the far north.
Seas (New Zealand waters): Eough in part's of the east coast and Cook Strait; elsewhere slight to moderate.
Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate east to south-east winds and slight to moderate seas.
Weather: Fair at first in eastern districts; otherwise cloudy to overcast and rain probable; later, rain extending tc eastern districts, but only scattered in the south. Temperatures, warm.
