Stimulating Interest

YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB

JUDGING COALPETITIONS.

With a view to stimulating interest in tho Young Farmers’ Club movement, the committee of the Pahiatua A. and P. Association have arranged for two judging competitions at the forthcoming show for club members. One contest. will be for one of the cattle classes, while the other competition for the young farmers will be centred in a sheep section —a class for Southdowns. Air. Cliff Wilton, of Ballance, has donated a cup for the sheep judging class while a similar trophy has been donated by Air. J. Campbell, of Ngaturi, for tho cattle class. The second ’ prize money in each competition has been fixed at 10s. The cups are to be won outright at the first competition.
