Pahiatua’s Health Stamp Campaign

CONTRIBUTIONS TO DATE. The postmaster, Air. C. S. Garrard, stated yesterday that although the National Health Stamp Campaign does not close until the end of February, Pahiatua’s contribution to the Dominion’s total was being steadily increased. To date £3l 14s 6d has been received from the sale of health stamps; 7s Gd from the sale of envelopes and £34 2s 9d from the efforts of tho local committee which amount also includes donations received from country districts. Half of tho stamp receipts are credited to the AY airarapa hospital district, two-tliirds of the envelope revenue and the whole of the cash donations, so that district’s net contribution to date is £SO ss.
