For that reason he dominates this page, which sets out to show some Very smart shopping styles, which are eminently suitable for hot shopping days ahead, A few words of explanation of how this bas-relief picture was obtained may be interesting. First, Santa was photographed ; then from the negative, another negative was made, everything that Was opaque in one being made transparent in the other, which meant that if the two negatives Were accurately superimposed, no result would come in printing. However, one negative was slightly moved and the extraordinary etched effect shown on the left is obtained.
