A Bright Studio Dance
AT BROADWAY SCHOOL OF DANCING
A very bright studio dunes was held at the Broadway School of Dancing last evening, many pupils and their friends attending.
Miss Gwen Gibbs received the guests attired in old gold and navy crepe, with a matching spray, while MissJ. Keid, senior assistant, wore a frock of Marina blue crepe and navy blue taffeta. Also assisting were Miss L. McAfEer, in lemon crepe, and Miss M. Pegden in white figured organdie. The studio was gaily decorated with coloured streamers, balloons, varicoloured blooms and green foliage.
During the evening ices and cool drinks were much in demand, feupper provided a merry interlude, while streamers, paper hats and trumpets added to the gaiety of the occasion. Extras were kindly played by Mr G. Pattle.
Among those present were Misses P. Furlong, L. Major, G. Moore, I. Lovelock, Collins, L. Boag, Rogers, J. Hamilton, B. Read, Newman, M. Gow, J. Sci’wyn, F. Honore, J. Carruthers, M, Clarke, R. Menendoz and M. Millar, Messrs C. Read, K. Struthers, R. Bary, R. Smith, J. Bolton, D. Simmons, G. Pattle, C. Moore, H. Linklater, G. Driver, Livingstone, A. Richardson, R. Menendoz, P. West, H. Lang, Renolds, C. Aikman, K. Davidson and R. Hadden.
A very happy gathering terminated with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.”
