Two Months' for Theft

EKETAHUNA COURT PROCEEDINGS

A man named Richard Baxter appeared before Justices in ,the Eketahuna Court on Monday, arrested by Constable McGowan on a charge or drunkenness and using obscene language. When he was taken to the police station for examination it transpired he was wearing an overcoat not his own. This resulted in a further charge of theft. Baxter will have to put in two months in gaol as a result of his misdoings.
