Mrs H. R. Williams, of Gisborne, is visiting her sister, Mrs H. B. Johnston, “Kamano, ’’ Cheltenham,
Mrs M. Finlayson, of Almadale, is spending a fortnight with friends in Napier.
Miss Cronin, Wellington, was the guest of Mr and Mrs L. Plank, Hokowhitu, at the week-end.
The friends of Mrs G. McCartney will be pleased to know that she has returned to her home, ‘Awawaro, ’• after being an inmate of tho Palmerston North Hospital, where she underwent an operation for appendicitis.
Miss Lorna Millar, who now resides in Sydney, is spending a short holiday with her parents, Mr and Mrs Maurice Millar, Amesbury street. Miss Doreen Smythe, of Sydney, accompanied Miss Millar and is also' the guest of Mr and Mrs Millar.
