“Eno's” Fruit Salt
A paragraph recently appeared in theso columns under the heading “Fruit Salts,” giving wliat purported to be a rocipo for making “Fruit Salts.” Our attention has been drawn to the fact that tho words “Fruit Salt” are the trademark of Messrs J. C. Eno,, Ltd., registered throughout the world and known and used for over GO years to ipdicato their well-known effervescent saline, Eno's “Fruit Salt” and wo aro informed that the recipe in question is not a recipe of Eno's “Fruit Salt” which the above-mentioned firm alone can make by their private process and ingredients. We are glad to bo able to make .-is announcement and to acknowledge that our uso of tho words “Fruit Salts,” though inadvertent, was incorrect.
