Motor-cyclist Seriously Injured

ACCIDENT AT TAONUI CROSSING.

When motor-cycling back to Palmerston North from Fcilding last evening, Mr Erie Pinker, of Vogel street, Palmerston North, who works in Fcilding and. who is well-known in amatcui wrestling circles, missed the Taonui crossing and came to grief near the cattle stops. The Free Ambulance was quickly summoned and after lirst aid had been rendered, at tho scene of llie mishap, Mr Pinker was conveyed to the Palmerston North Hospital. Later in the evening it ivas ascertained that Mr Pinker’s condition was serious.
