Moderate Score Against New South Wales POOR FIELDING 'BY HOME SIDE United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copy wright. Received Friday, 1U.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 22. Tho cricket mulch between Marylcbonc and New South Wales commenced in very sultry weather beforo a very small crowd. Marylebone, in their first innings, scored 26U, but had the fieldsmen given more assistance' to the New South Wales bowlers, Marylebone's score would huvo been even smaller. Parks, who made a number of fine cover shots, was dropped when 85 and Powell had two chances before he readied 20, while Sims and Baxter were both missed before they scored. The ground fielding was very ragged, a lot of runs being given away. White was tho outstanding bowler and hud all the Marylebone ' batsmen subdued. Cooper, who is a promising fast bowler, beat the opening batsmen with sheer pace. Hardstaff, alone of the batsmen, impressed.. He used his feet well and was not afraid to lift the ball into the outfield. Maiyiebone’s innings lasted four hours live minutes.
