NEW WORLD’S RECORD ESTABLISHED. United Press Association—Bv Electric Telegraph.—Copy wriglit. Recoived Friday, 7.15 p.m. WASHINGTON, Nov. 21. The National Aeronautic Association to-ciay announced that the calibration of the sealed meteorograph on the balloon Explorer revealed that its stratosphore flight on November 10 set a new world’s record of 72,395 feet. The Federation Aeronautic Internationale in Paris will be requested to grant an international certificate on this figure.
