Produce
This is the slack off for the produce business and there is no great activity to record lately.
The two items of the week are* the drop in the price of pollard of 10s a ton and tho temporary rise in new potato quotations from Pukekoko of 4s owt. This, on account of wet weather holding up digging.
Onions are slightly easier and soiling at 18s Od to 19s ex local stores.
Now Zealand supplies of fowl-wheat are practically exhausted and Australian wheat is now tho main supply. This is selling ex local stores at 6s 3d to 6s 6d bushel.
