Manawatu Co-operative Building Society
A meeting of directors of the Manawatu Co-operative Building Society was hold last evening. In the unavoidable absenco of Mr. J. J. O'Shea, the chair was taken by Mr. G. G. Priest, and Messrs. G. B. Cope and W. E. Ward were also present. Loans as follows were finally approved: Group 2, four loans at £500; group 3, £4OO, £7OO, and £200; group 4, £SOO and £700; group 5, £500; group 0, two loans at £SOO and one of £4OO. It was reported that a further .100 shares had been taken up in tho society’s new group (No. 7).
