Rates Sustained at London Wool Sales

HARDENING TENDENCY LONDON, Nov. 20. Offerings at the London wool sales to-day were 11,163 bales, including 3549 New Zealand. About BS4O bales of Australian and New Zealand wools were sold. Good Home-Continental competition at full opening rates were sustained. Prices for merinos have a hardening tendency. New Zealand sales included scoured merinos “Oxford,” 321 d highest, 22a average; slipo, halfbred lambs, “Fairfield,” 17d highest, 15Jd average.
