No nomination will bo accepted on any account without the proper entrance fee. All performances for the past two 1 years must bo given. If no win ior two years, four last performances must be given. Protests must be made in. writing to tho Secretary or the Judge or Judges, within fifteen minutes after tho raco or chop in dispute, together with a deposit of five per cent, of the amount of stake (minimum ss), which will bo forfeited if the protest is found to be frivalous or vexatious.
