Beware of the Gorge
ROCKS STILL COMING DOWN A Wuirarapa motorist when discussing tho Gorge road with a “Times” man last night said tho road still required to be negotiated with care as in two places in particular there was little room to spare for even one vehicle. Rocks wore still coming down in various places, and tho heavy fall of rain had loosened the earth at certain points, causing small landslides to occur. All tho while the workmen were engaged with a lorry and wheelbarrows but the steam shovel was not working when he passed through shortly before five.
