The following dpath notice appears in flic Oamaru Maii to-night:— ; Death: Seafield (by cable), on October Hi, 1!)35, at Hove, Brighton, EngDowager Countess of Seafield, beloveu widow of Francis William Ogilvie Grant, tenth Earl of Scafiield and daughter of the late Major George Thomas Evans, all late of ,oamain, New eZalaud. 1 1 The deceased, lady came with • her parents from Ireland and settled at OluiiQven near .Oomaru over sixty years ago. Nina, Evans as a girl was well; known and well liked in Oamaru. She married at Oamaru F. W. O. Grant, later Earl of Seaiield and lived in Oamaru for some time before going Home. - • ■ ■
